A backup every night
The whole database
Every night a full copy of all the data is kept — students, marks, results, receipts, accounts, everything.
Logos and signatures too
A copy of the uploaded logo and the head's signature is kept with it.
Fourteen days of copies
The last fourteen nights are kept — a mistake found days later can still be undone from an earlier copy.
Before every update
Another copy is taken before any update to the software.
A copy that stopped half-way is not taken as a backup — it is checked to be whole. And a backup can be restored and tested without touching the live database.
Each institution's data kept apart
- No one in one institution can see anything of another — the software checks it on every action
- Inside the institution too, each person sees only the pages their work needs; the head decides in Settings who sees and does what
- A question paper a teacher makes is seen only by that teacher
- Students' photos are not stored on our server — for ID cards they are taken from your own folder
Logins and passwords
- Passwords are kept hashed — no one can read them, not even us
- Repeated wrong passwords shut the login for a while
- A temporary password given to someone new must be changed at the first login
- Unless “remember me” is ticked, a login ends by itself after a long while with nothing done
- The connection between the browser and the software is always https — no one on the way can read it
- Our own panel takes two steps to log in — the password, then a code from an app on the phone
Who changed what — all written down
Marks, results, money, students and who may do what — when something changes, who changed it, when, and what it was before is written in the activity log. The same payment or SMS never goes through twice.
The data is yours
- The student list, receipts and reports can be downloaded to Excel and PDF and kept with you too
- Your data is not sold, and not used for advertising
- There is no advertising or tracking code in the software or on this site
Questions
Can something deleted by mistake be brought back?
Yes. Data can be brought back from any of the last fourteen nights' copies — tell the helpline what you need and from which day. To keep your own copy, download lists, receipts and reports to Excel or PDF.
Can another school see our data?
No. Each institution's data is kept apart, and the software checks on every action that it belongs to your own institution.
Can a teacher see the accounts?
Each person sees the pages their work needs. The head can change in Settings who sees and does what — and everything done is in the activity log.
What does it cost?
৳500 a month for 200 students or fewer; ৳1,000 a month for up to 500 students; ৳1 a month more for each student over that, every service included; a one-time registration fee of ৳2,000. SMS are ৳0.42 each, only for what you send. The first bill comes 10 days after you sign up — the month you signed up in whole if more than 10 days of it are left, else only ৳500.
