Result and mark sheet software — Enter the marks — GPA, merit and mark sheets are done

No more late nights over the result sheet. Teachers enter their own subjects' marks — from a phone — and the software works out grades, GPA, pass or fail and merit, by the board's rules.

From marks to mark sheets, in four steps

  1. 1

    The mark split

How each subject's marks split — written 100, or CQ 70 + MCQ 30, or with a practical. Full and pass marks are yours to set.

  2. 2

    Teachers enter marks

Each only for their own subjects, from a phone, with the grade shown at once. One page shows which subjects still have marks missing.

  3. 3

    Results made

One click for the whole class's GPA, pass or fail and merit — a draft first, published once checked.

  4. 4

    Mark sheets and SMS

A whole section's mark sheets printed or saved as PDF at once; results to guardians' phones in one click.

How grades are given

It starts with Bangladesh's GPA-5 scale. Whatever a subject's full marks, the grade goes by the percentage:

Out of 100 Out of 50 Grade Point
80–100 40–50 A+ 5.00
70–79 35–39 A 4.00
60–69 30–34 A- 3.50
50–59 25–29 B 3.00
40–49 20–24 C 2.00
33–39 17–19 D 1.00
0–32 0–16 F 0.00
  • A separate pass in each part: short of the pass mark in CQ, MCQ or practical, and the whole subject is F
  • One grade from the 1st and 2nd papers added together; the pass is judged on both together too
  • GPA = the average of the compulsory subjects' points; a single F makes it 0.00
  • 4th subject: the points above 2 are added, the division is by the compulsory subjects alone, and GPA never passes 5
  • No mark counts as absent in that subject
  • Merit: those who passed first, then by total marks; equal totals share a place — within a section or the whole class

If your rules differ, change the grades, cut-offs and points. Change them later and earlier exams keep their marks.

What the mark sheet shows

  • The institution's name, address, EIIN and logo
  • Each subject's marks, grade and point; the total, GPA and merit place
  • The head's signature; colour or black-and-white print
  • A ‘DRAFT’ watermark if printed before publishing
  • Every exam of every year on one page — the academic transcript

Mark sheets print in English, as the board's do.

Questions

Can a teacher change another subject's marks?

No. Teachers enter marks only for the subjects given to them, and every change — who, when, before and after — stays in the activity log. Once results are published, that class's marks are locked.

What if a mistake turns up after publishing?

Withdraw the results, correct the marks, then make and publish them again.

Do class tests and monthly tests get results too?

Yes. Make any exam under your own name — each gets its own results, merit and mark sheets.

Do madrasa and coaching results follow the same rules?

Everyone starts on GPA-5. In a madrasa, Arabic's 1st and 2nd papers are graded together too; a coaching centre or anyone else can set their own grades.
